[Delphine] Coral Gables

Dear everyone, Miami writing!

This time, you may think "again?" And yes, again!

I went during the weekend to Coral Gables. Let me skip the bus/metro part which, once again, gave me some issues. All I can say is that I was supposed to meet Savéria at Government Center Station and then go to University Station to be picked up by a friend of hers, Mélanie. I couldn't do as planned because of a missing bus so I finally joined them a bit later. They both came to pick me at a metro station and we drove to Mélanie's home. On the way, I had my first impressions of the neighborhood and believe me, my feeling was good!!

When you drive, you can see on both sides of the road very pretty big houses and trees absolutely everywhere. You can hardly imagine a greener area.

First, we enjoy the last moments of sunshine at Mélanie's pool. It is time to get to know each other and here is what can be known about her. She is doing a one year "VIE" here in Miami for Club Med in HR. She got here approximately at the same time as I did and will thus leave also next summer. This is actually how Savéria and her got the chance to meet. Apparently, there was a meeting in Paris  for all the "VIE" people who left during the summer all over the world and this is where they met. Mélanie seems really nice and I cannot wait ti see her again!

 After this, she drove us to Sunset Drive. Nothing like Sunset Boulevard in California, but it is a nice street with many stores and a mall. But you can see that they tried to replicate LA's famous walk of fame:

Three girls in a mall, obviously we all bought some stuff at Forever 21! I got earings and a skirt :) As a good girl, I couldn't resist the temptation to wear the earings the same night and here is what they look like:
